The fabric is first dyed in a single tone.
It is then crumpled into small clusters, and a cloth with soda is gently dabbed onto the fabric.
As soon as the soda touches the material, the desired effect appears.
The soda is left to work for 10 minutes to achieve the perfect result, before the fabric is washed.
The process requires great precision to achieve the exact right result.

Here we work and collaborate with local artisans, who have carried the art and expertise of traditional dying techniques on for generations.
